~Plan~
We get it! Coordinating a wedding stationery package that fits your style and budget and that also communicate what you want to express about your relationship is a big task. That's why we have condensed all the overwhelming information down to the most important to get you through the process without breaking a sweat.
Before ordering your wedding stationery, you would have finalized the place, date and time of the wedding, you have an idea of what you want the wedding theme and colors to be and you would have compiled your guest list to know how many invitations to order.
You've heard it time and time again that the wedding invitation sets the tone of the wedding, it is the first glimpse that your guest will receive of the event. It is a nice touch to incorporate the theme of the wedding and the wedding colors into your wedding stationery. For instance, the ink color selected for the printing can be the same color used for the flowers.
Wedding invitations are usually mailed six to eight weeks before the wedding. Save the dates are mailed between two to six months before the wedding. Give yourself enough time to shop around to find the best wedding stationery for you. Order a sample of the invitation paper so that you can verify the quality, texture and color and so that you have it on hand as you make other stylistic decisions about the wedding.
~Order~
When ordering your wedding stationery you will need to make decisions in regards to the paper, design, printing process, layout, lettering style, ink color and wording. The paper, design and printing process will mostly depend on your budget and taste. Thermography printing, the printing process used on most of our wedding invitations, is an economical alternative to the pricier engraving and letterpress printing. Wedding invitations printed with thermography are created by adding a resin powder to the wet ink, which when heated, creates a raised surface. The rule of thumb for selecting a lettering style is that you should choose a script lettering if your wording is minimal and choose a block lettering style if there is many lines of wording. The ink color should compliment the paper color and should not be hard to read against the paper. Remember to order extra invitations to make sure you have on hand for last minute additions and also to keep one for yourself as a keepsake!
~Receiving your order~
When you receive your wedding invitation order please go though it to make sure it is exactly as you ordered. Contact us immediately if you find a discrepancy.
~Prep and Mail~
To avoid postal delays take your wedding invitation ensemble, including all envelopes and enclosures to your post office to determine proper postage. If your wedding invitation has anything which could be damaged by the postal machines, then you can ask to have them hand stamped. Mail all wedding invitations at the same time, six to eight weeks before the wedding, using first class postage.

Delight in this very special day of your life. Also delight in how your wedding programs, place cards and favors coordinate perfectly!
